Student housing group Unite and Complex Development Projects have lodged plans for a 286-bed scheme in Coventry city centre.
Plans for the £20m scheme were submitted to Coventry city council this week and will be discussed by the planning committee in March.
Plans will involved the demolition of existing buildings at the entrance to Far Gosford Street to make way for buildings of four, five, six and seven storeys.
If the plan is approved, work would start later this year.
