Housing provider whg has appointed Keepmoat to build more than 400 homes as part of a £50m scheme to regenerate an area of Walsall in the West Midlands.
The scheme will see a total of 412 private homes, including 177 for affordable rent.
The plans are subject to planning permission and a funding bid to the Homes and Communities Agency.
Construction could start on site in October with completion in 2018.
