Super prime plans lodged for MacDonald House

Mumbai-based developer Lodha Group has lodged plans for a super prime residential redevelopment of the Canadian High Commission.

The developer has submitted MSMR Architects-designed proposals to convert office building MacDonald House, W1, into 41 luxury flats.

It wants to demolish behind the façade of the 125,000 sq ft 1-3 Grosvenor Square building and provide nine storeys.

The Canadian government sold its High Commission in Mayfair to Lodha last November for  C$530m (£306m).

DP9 is advising on planning.
