New Topshop warehouse heralds Arcadia split

Philip Green is pushing ahead with plans to separate Topshop Topman from the rest of Arcadia Group, by opening a dedicated warehouse.

The new facility in Daventry, Northamptonshire will be dedicated to handling Topshop and Topman orders which were previously managed by the Arcadia facility in Milton Keynes.

It is the latest move to untangle Arcadia’s profitable and failing businesses. The group made a £170m loss last year and Arcadia was granted a CVA in June, triggering the closure of 48 stores and rent cuts on 194.
