Moorfield’s The Trilogy in Manchester has been rated the number one place to rent in a report analysing resident reviews.
The 232-flat scheme is located close to the city centre in Castlefield and is managed by Allsop.
It was followed by Hermes IM and Vista Fund’s The Cargo in Liverpool, which is managed by Savills, and Essential Living’s Dressage Court in London.
The 2019 National Build to Rent Report from HomeViews examined 84 BTR schemes and 438 BTS schemes, with 5,000 reviews in eight cities, in partnership with the UK Apartment Association.
It examined resident ratings of facilities, design, location, value and management. BTR outperformed BTS in every category.
Residents gave BTR schemes an overall rating of 4.34 out of 5, compared to 4.13 for BTS.
The rental schemes saw a marginal decline on last year’s ranking of 4.39.
BTR schemes performed well in terms of location (4.43) and facilities (4.39), but were pulled down by value (3.99).
The regions led the way, with an average score of 4.29 against 4.43 in London.
Every BTR scheme in the top 10 boasted a concierge, regular events, communal spaces and a pet-friendly environment.
