The Chinese owners of the Tik Tok video app are considering setting up a global headquarters in London, Dublin or Singapore.
The Beijing-based Byte Dance is considering opening the new offices in response to growing scrutiny from US politicians over national security concerns, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Byte Dance’s move will be a test of London’s appeal to technology companies post-Brexit. Facebook and Apple are among those to have signed deals to rent new office space in the city.
