Mountain Warehouse is still climbing high as it reports record trading over the Christmas period.
The privately owned outdoor clothing and equipment chain, which has 400 stores in nine countries, announced a rise in sales of 16.2% to £95.8m for the 13 weeks to December 29. Online sales surged by 21.6%.
It plans to open five more stores this year.
Neon Sheep, the company’s gift and stationary business, more than doubled sales on last year to £3.2m as it expanded to 25 stores.
