Workspace Group has reported continued demand for its flexible offices, with enquiries and lettings on a steady climb.
In third-quarter trading results, it said average monthly lettings rose to 113, up by 15.3% on last year. Average monthly enquiries hit 1,001, up by 10.3%.
The business said it had seen “a noticeable increase in enquiries and viewing activity” in the new year.
Chief executive Graham Clemett said: “This was a very encouraging third quarter for the company. Despite the uncertainty around the General Election and the usual seasonal impact, enquiries and lettings were strong.
“Customer demand in the first few weeks of the new year suggest that increased political certainty following the election result has buoyed business confidence.”
Workspace reported a pro-forma LTV of 21% at 31 December, based on the September 2019 valuation, with cash and undrawn facilities of £157m.
