CIMC Capital, a subsidiary of China-based logistics supplier CIMC, has sold the Hampton by Hilton hotel at Bristol Airport.
The hotel, which has 201 bedrooms, two meeting rooms and leisure facilities, was sold to Ability Group for more than £24m.
CBRE, which acted for the vendor, marketed the property with the opportunity for expansion through an additional 50 rooms.
CIMC partnered with Hilton Worldwide in 2015 to develop the property as a modular hotel.
It is located adjacent to the airport’s terminal and is the only branded hotel at Bristol International Airport.
Anuraag Badola, hotel investment properties director at CBRE, said: “This asset is a well-presented, modern hotel that benefits from both its association with Hilton Worldwide and its prime strategic location as the only hotel in Bristol Airport, an important transport hub for the city of Bristol and the south west region.”
