CBRE has hired two specialists from JLL to join the debt and structured finance team in its Capital Advisors business.
Chris Gow has joined CBRE as an executive director. He was head of debt advisory for EMEA in JLL’s hotel and hospitality division, and left the agency in January, according to his LinkedIn profile. Earlier in his career he worked at Bank of Scotland and Lloyds.
At CBRE he will lead debt advisory activities for the firm’s operational real estate business, advising clients on debt deals in sectors including hospitality, healthcare, education, co-living and student accommodation.
CBRE has also hired Stephen Barr as a director in the team.
Paul Coates, CBRE’s head of EMEA debt and structured finance, said: “We have seen capital allocations to operational assets increase considerably over the last few years, in turn driving the demand for specialist debt advisory services.”
