LondonMetric was among the REITs enjoying gains today on the stock market, which edged higher as other countries in Europe began to loosen lockdown restrictions.
LondonMetric’s share price ended trading up 4% to 190.1p after the company upped its capital raising to £120m, from £100m.
Earlier today the landlord had additionally disclosed a rise in EPRA earnings per share for the year to 31 March, driven by a 24% rise in net rental income.
Other notable risers among the listed property firms include Ediston Property, after its shares traded up 6.5% at 48.9p, and Regional REIT, which closed at 79.2p after shares rose by 6.3%.
The FTSE 100 closed up 1.7% at 5,849, while the FTSE 250 gained 0.9% at 16,101.
