Wolverhampton City Council has launched a hunt for an operator to take on the long lease for its Grade II listed civic halls.
The council is offering the lease to a partner to develop the location as a multifunctional venue in a £20m contract. The preferred partner will receive a share of the property and rental income.
The buildings were built in the late 1930s and are undergoing a £38.1m renovation that started in 2017.
Wolverhampton Civic Hall is the largest live event venue in the Black Country. The council has extended the tender deadline to 3 July.
