Birmingham developer and landowner Calthorpe Estates has appointed a new chief executive.
Haydn Cooper will join the business from his role as commercial property director for the Duchy of Cornwall, following the departure of Mark Lee in July.
Cooper has spent the first of half the year as a consultant for the Duchy of Cornwall and the Duchy of Lancaster. Prior to this, he was property director at Cadogan Estates, looking after a £4bn Chelsea portfolio.
At Calthorpe Estates, he will lead the growth of the 1,600-acre estate in Birmingham, managing key projects including Edgbaston Village, Edgbaston Medical Quarter, Pebble Mill and New Garden Square.
