The housing team at Vistry Group has promoted Dawnet McLaughlin (left) to managing director of its Southern operation. She joined the firm five years ago and worked as commercial director in Guildford. Brendan Evans has been promoted to director for the Kent region.
Vail Williams has appointed Rob Pabst (right) as regional facilities manager at its property asset management team based in Reading. In his new role, he will be responsible for a portfolio of multilet, mixed-use and commercial properties around the M4 and M40 corridors, including Reading, Bristol and Birmingham. He joins from CBRE.
Building surveyor Luke Field has joined Sussex Surveyors’ Hove office from Trident Building Consultancy.
Carter Jonas’s valuation team has appointed Abby Pugh to its Bristol office as partner. She joins from Colliers International and will focus on the commercial loan security valuation market. John Martin also joins the team as a partner; based in London, he will work with investors, housing associations and banks to build on new market opportunities. He joins from Lamberts Chartered Surveyors.
Colliers International has promoted Cassius Taylor-Smith to chief marketing officer of EMEA, based in London. He most recently served as executive director and head of marketing and communications for Asia.
Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Andrew Brook as associate director in its valuation team, based in Leeds. He joins from Ryden, where he worked for more than 10 years, most recently as head of valuation.
Tonbridge-based Fernham Homes has appointed Chris Loughead as development director, to support the business’s growth plans for new sites in Kent, East Sussex and Greater London. He has nine years’ housebuilding experience and was most recently development director at Crest Nicholson in the Eastern region.
Barings has appointed John Ratcliffe as head of Asia-Pacific real estate. Based in the firm’s Sydney office, Ratcliffe will work with the senior management team to develop the business’s pan-Asian and Australian real estate platform, covering both equity and debt.
Glenhawk has appointed Joan Drummond as head of collections and Andreea Negroiu as treasury associate.
SHW has appointed Jonathan Shuttleworth as director and head of commercial at its London office. He specialises in lease advisory and asset management, and previously worked at Mellersh & Harding, Knight Frank and, most recently, Brecker Grossmith as director of professional services.
Axiom Stone Solicitors has appointed Vicky Tsan to the real estate team on its China desk. She has experience in representing overseas investors from China, Hong Kong and South-East Asia in both residential and commercial investment.
Principle Estate Management has appointed experienced property expert Tony Rozario to support its growth into the south-east of England.
