Robbie Williams’ performing arts academy will be investing £15m into creating a music and performing arts campus at Queensberry’s Metquarter scheme in Liverpool.
Williams co-owns LMA, a performing arts educational institution, which has signed a 25-year lease for the scheme to create a 50,000 sq ft arts university campus on most of the first floor of the building, which the scheme has planning permission to repurpose.
The campus will include film studios, dance studios, music rooms, classrooms and recording studios.
Queensberry has been refurbishing the Metquarter over the past 18 months and has secured new retailers including Cricket, Kids Cavern and cinema operator Everyman Cinema.
Williams became a co-owner of LMA back in 2019. He said: “Liverpool is known for being home to some amazing talent and LMA is testament to that. I’m so proud to be part of its incredible journey, especially as the staff and students take their next steps in expanding across the city.”
