Harworth Group has appointed Lynda Shillaw (left) as chief executive, with effect from 1 November. She will succeed Owen Michaelson who retires on 31 December.
Richard Lane has joined MetroPM as a consultant. He will advise founder and managing director Matthew Arnold on governance and complex estate issues. Lane was formerly managing partner and latterly senior partner at Leamington Spabased Wright Hassall.
LCP has appointed Julian Diamond as head of asset management for London. He was previously retail director. In the Bristol office, Alex Williams joins as an asset manager from LaSalle Investment Management and Nathan Clark as an asset manager from Alder King.
Knight Frank has appointed Matthew Hodder-Williams as partner and head of the Sevenoaks office. He has worked in the residential property industry for more than 20 years, most recently for estate agency Marsh & Parsons in London. Prior to this, he ran a desk for Knight Frank’s international department, managing its Alpine network in the south-west of France.
Nick Deeks has been appointed to lead Scannell International, part of Scannell Properties. The new division will be dedicated to serving the needs of e-commerce and retail operators by developing and investing in build-to-suit real estate solutions. Deeks was formerly director and head of EMEA real estate at Amazon. Chris Davies, also from Amazon, has been recruited by Scannell International.
Matthias Huss has been appointed to lead Savills Germany’s Hamburg office. He will be responsible for developing and expanding existing and new business areas. Huss recently worked as a director at WeWork, where he was responsible for business expansion in Northern Europe. He also has previous experience at CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield.
Principle Estate Management has appointed Adam Jones as business integration and asset manager. Holly Cox has been promoted to property assistant in the customer services team and Esme Williams has been named business integration assistant.
Lancashire County Council has appointed Brian Kneale as senior estates surveyor.
Hill Group has appointed Rebecca Littler as group sales and marketing director. She has more than 17 years’ experience in the housebuilding sector and will focus on delivering a new sales strategy to provide a fully digital sales service in the post lockdown operating environment. Littler joins from London Square.
Starwood European Real Estate Finance has appointed Shelagh Mason and Charlotte Denton as non-executive directors. Mason has been a consultant at Collas Crill for more than five years, specialising in commercial property law, and will join the board on 1 September. Denton takes up her position from 1 January 2021, she is a non-executive director at Cinven, Butterfield Group and Next Energy Capital.
Aston Rose has promoted Paul Murray to director of property management and Ed Norman to associate director.
Cortland has hired Owain Thomas as senior director of development for Europe to lead its expansion in the UK and Ireland. He joins from Cheyne Capital, where he spent five years as development director.
