AIB provides €65m for Dublin docklands resi

Developer Marlet has secured a €65m (£58.7m) financial facility from Allied Irish Banks to develop its One Lime Street residential scheme in Dublin’s south docklands.

The development comprises 274 flats and 13,000 sq ft of amenity space with a gym and lounge, outdoor communal space, and 2,500 sq ft of retail.

Marlet has appointed BAM for the build, with construction to begin this month and completion expected in Q2 2022.

It is the second financing deal the two have agreed following a €33m backing to support development of 142 flats at the Walled Garden scheme in Dundrum.
