Alternative Income REIT posted the highest share price uplift among the listed landlords on the stock exchange today, after reporting relatively robust quarterly figures yesterday evening (6 August).
The landlord’s stock gained 5.66% to close at 56p.
The REIT, previously known as AEW Long Lease, has so far collected 82% of Q2 rents due. Unaudited EPRA earnings per share grew by 9.1% to 1.38p. The REIT also upped its interim dividend.
Notable property risers also included BMO Real Estate Investments, up by 5.09% to 57.8p, and Empiric Student Property, up 4.03% to 64.5p.
The biggest property fallers were PRS REIT, which lost 4.4% to finish the day at 73.8p; Ediston Property, down by 3.07% to 53.7p; and Schroder REIT, which fell by 2.51% to 35p.
The FTSE 100 nudged up 0.09% to 6,032.18 points, while the FTSE 250 ended the session up 0.82% to 17,622.93.
