Planning permission has been given to Beaumont Hotel Properties to extend Mayfair’s Beaumont Hotel, W1.
The plans will see 2 Providence Court redeveloped behind a retained facade to create an additional 25 bedrooms. The building currently provides 12,615 sq ft of office space. Once complete the Beaumont Hotel will provide 98 bedrooms.
Plans to create 28 additional bedrooms were originally submitted in April last year, but the scheme was revised following a consultation with Westminster City Council’s arboricultural officer to protect two trees.
Beaumont Hotel Properties lists Richard Faber as a director on Companies House and since July 2020 Winston Churchill’s grandson and former conservative MP Sir Arthur Nicholas Winston Soames also as a director.
