La Française rejigs its real estate division

French Asset manager La Française has realigned its real estate businesses to merge them under one brand, La Française Real Estate Managers.

The move sees La Française Real Estate Partners International in the UK and Germany brought together and two sub-divisions created.

David Rendall, currently managing director of La Française Real Estate Partners International, which acquired its first two UK properties this year, will become managing director of La Française Real Estate Managers and lead its institutional sub-division.

This division will focus on France Germany, the UK, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Belgium, providing investment solutions designed for institutional investors on core, core-plus, value-add and opportunistic strategies.

The other sub-division, to be led by Marc-Olivier Penin, managing director of La Française Real Estate Managers, will focus on retail investors, including the group’s French collective property investment vehicles, providing property investment solutions and services.

La Française said the move would enable its real estate business to accelerate its development and service its clients which have an increasing desire to invest in property. Its real estate arm currently has close to €25bn in assets under management.
