Shaftesbury’s share price hit its lowest level since 2011 today, dropping by 4.22% to 472.4p per share.
Other fallers included GCP Student and Capital & Regional, which both saw share price falls of more than 4% to 127p and 43.1p respectively.
Landsec also saw its share price fall by 1.18% to 499.95p, pushing it into the FTSE 100’s top fallers despite the FTSE 100 rising by 1.2% to 5,899 points. The FTSE 250 was also up by 1.02% to 16,992points.
Conversely, self-storage provider Lok’nStore topped the list of property’s risers with a 8.02% hike in its share price, to 525p.
Countrywide also saw a share price increase of 4.68% to 177.95p, while Savills was up by 3.15% to 819.5p.
