Seaford Finance has appointed Jon Warman as managing director of loan origination and execution.
The debt consultant has hired Warman as it seeks to expand the business with a focus on residential BTR and PRS development debt.
Seaford specialises in financing investments, development, joint ventures, mezzanine finance and loan restructuring.
Last year, it arranged £1.1bn in debt deals.
Warman joins from Spring where he spent five years as co-head of the European real estate advisory business. He was also previously a director in LNR Europe’s investment management and NPL advisory division.
Morris Rothbart, founder and managing partner at Seaford Finance, said: “This is an important strategic hire for Seaford Finance as we look to increase the scale of the business and provide our clients with access to an even broader range of debt financing.
“As a result of the impact Covid-19 is having on the real estate market, we are seeing heightened demand for debt across several sectors, including development funding within the leisure and PRS sectors.”
