Savills has recruited JLL’s former central London tenant representation boss Andrew Barnes as a new director.

Barnes spent more than 14 years at JLL, having joined as part of the agent’s acquisition of King Sturge.
He was a partner at King Sturge for over five years before to the takeover. Prior to this he spent over six years at DTZ setting up its tenant representation team, joining in 2000 after six years at JLL as an associate director, which he moved to in 1993. He started his career in 1990 at Savills, where he spent more than three years as a surveyor for the City and Docklands.
Barnes specialises in occupational advice and acquisitions and disposals for occupiers.
His track record includes advising on Diageo’s global headquarters relocation and more recently on Netflix’s expansion into 88,000 sq ft in Fitzrovia.
