MIPIM has pushed back its 2021 Cannes conference from March to June as Covid-19 continues to impact global events.
“Following discussions with clients about travel restrictions and quarantine, and having looked at the availability of the Palais des Festivals MIPIM venue next year, we have decided to hold the event in June,” said MIPIM director Ronan Vaspart.
He added that 70% of the show’s exhibitors had already confirmed their participation in 2021.
The new dates for the event are Monday 7 to Thursday 10 June.
The news follows the postponement of this year’s conference in March when the pandemic spread across Europe. It was replaced with a Paris-based event in September.
