Edinburgh Woollen Mill is seeking a 10-day extension of creditor protection as it teeters on the brink of administration.
The retailer has about 1,100 shops, including those under its Peacocks, Jaeger and Austin Reed brands.
Advisers at FRP, the advisory firm, must be convinced there is a viable buyer for Edinburgh Woollen Mill or they will put it into administration tomorrow to protect creditors’ interests.
