Pantera appointed to sell Elliot Group schemes

The administrators of two Elliot Group developments in Manchester and Liverpool have appointed disposals firm Pantera Property and Lambert Smith Hampton to market the sites.

The two firms are tasked with selling the £250m Infinity scheme in Liverpool (pictured) and the £70m Residence development in Manchester, on behalf of joint administrators at David Rubin & Partners.

Construction began on the Infinity project in March last year. The scheme comprises three towers and 1,000 apartments close to Liverpool’s waterfront.

The £70m Residence project in Salford is a mixed-use development, consisting of a 15-storey and a 34-storey tower.

Along with the £100m Aura student living scheme in Liverpool, the two sites were placed in administration in March following allegations of fraud and corruption against the company’s founder Elliot Lawless.

It comes after Manchester’s High Court approved a deal for investors to take over the Aura scheme, which has since completed.

A consortium of Aura’s original investors will now restart work on the 1,000-bedroom development.

Tom Snook, managing director of Pantera Property, said it is “confident of securing sales for both projects so that the build-outs are resumed and these two developments can reach completion”.
