Hines has appointed WeWork executive Ronen Journo as its European head of operations and senior managing director.
Journo will oversee Hines’s relationships with tenants across Europe and will be responsible for wider property management operations.
He joins the company from WeWork, where he is senior vice president for enterprise and workplace, overseeing the firm’s property management operations and its relationships with key corporate tenants across Europe.
Prior to WeWork, Journo was managing director for workplace resources and EMEA operations at Cisco, and spent over 20 years at the company.
He also sites on the boards of several proptech companies including SpaceOS, Basking Automation and Juce, as well as affordable housing provider Network Homes.
Hines Europe chief executive Lars Huber said: “This is an important strategic appointment for Hines as we look to further improve the operations of our assets, and to strengthen relationships with our tenants across Europe, delivering the very best real estate, workplace and living experience, as well as technology and customer service.”
