Boutique investor Praxis Real Estate has recruited investment manager Michael Glaser, as part of plans to ramp up its acquisition strategy.
Glaser has joined from South Street Asset Management, where he led the business’s real estate investment strategy. Before that, he was head of UK acquisitions at Seaforth Land and Moor Park Capital Partners.
At Praxis, Glaser will focus on value-add investment opportunities across the UK.
Gary Roberts, chief operating officer at Praxis, said: “We are seeing an exponential increase in buy-side opportunities and, as with previous market corrections, we are positioned and ready to deploy significant capital.
“We expect to be highly active in the next few years and Michael is a key hire to help us achieve our objectives.”
Praxis, which was founded in 2009, specialises in value-add strategies in the UK regions. Its transactions range from smaller £5-10m lots to portfolios in excess of £100m.
