Colliers International has hired Paddy Allen as head of operational capital markets to boost its focus on alternatives, student housing and hotels.
He will be a director in the national capital markets team, under John Knowles.
Allen (pictured) joins from Cushman & Wakefield where he was a partner in the capital markets group for three years. He previously focused on residential investment and advisory, with build-to-rent, student accommodation and co-living.
He has 15 years of experience, with previous roles as head of new market entry and transactions at Global Student Accommodation and having previously co-founded two property consultancies.
Allen said: “I am passionate about people, places and technology, and what that means for achieving strong asset, portfolio and business performance.”
