Aviva Investors has secured home appliance designer and manufacturer Fisher & Paykel as the tenant for a 59,000 sq ft warehouse in Northampton.
The warehouse sits within Aviva’s Swan Valley Industrial Estate, which was built earlier this year and is undergoing a full fit-out for new tenants.
Fisher & Paykel will use the facility as its UK headquarters, relocating from Milton Keynes.
The business park’s tenant line-up includes Pets at Home and The White Company, which occupy a combined 490,000 sq ft of lettable floorspace.
Aviva Investors, which is Aviva’s asset management business, also owns the site of a car dealership under construction at Swan Valley. The unit is prelet to Guy Salmon, who will operate it as a Jaguar Land Rover dealership upon completion in March 2021.
Additionally, Aviva Investors owns two further plots at Swan Valley. A facility called Rothbart 128 achieved detailed planning consent in September, which features a 128,000 sq ft speculatively built warehouse, while the final plot is a greenfield site with outline consent for employment land.
Avison Young and Lambert Smith Hampton acted for Aviva Investors, while CBRE advised Fisher & Paykel.
