Shaftesbury’s West End village of Seven Dials has launched a programme of Christmas activities in partnership with local charity Dragon Hall Trust.
In line with the latest government restrictions, the area’s streets will safely come back to life with live window displays, acoustic music and restaurant offerings.
All the activities will be raising funds for Dragon Hall Trust, which supports disadvantaged members of the local community.

Lovells digs deep for new school garden
Lovell Homes has helped to create a sensory garden at St Joseph’s school in Longsight, Manchester, providing funding and building materials for the project.
Recognising the difficulties the coronavirus lockdown imposed on children, the school transformed an unused outdoor space into a sensory garden where the students can spend time reconnecting with nature.
Paul Woby from Lovell Homes North West said: “I was instantly on board with the school’s plan to revitalise an underutilised area to create a sensory garden for the students.
“Lockdown has been difficult for everyone, but it’s particularly hard for children who have been taken away from their usual routine of going to school and seeing their friends.”
LandAid Christmas Appeal
LandAid has launched the LandAid Christmas Appeal to help young homeless people through the winter. The pandemic has been incredibly difficult for people without the safety and security of a home and somewhere to isolate if needed. The industry charity is asking property professionals to help give young homeless people the Christmas they deserve.
