Market wrap: Landsec and British Land lead Friday falls

Landsec and British Land posted the sharpest share price falls in the FTSE 100 index today.

Landsec fell by 6% to close at 667p, while British Land was down by 4.4% at 478.5p.

Also trading down were NewRiver REIT (down 5.8), BMO Commercial Property Trust (-5.3%) and UK Commercial Property REIT (-4.9%).

The day’s biggest real estate rise was posted by Dukemount Capital, which rose by 4% to 0.65p.

The FTSE 100 finished the day at 6,529 points, a drop of 0.3%. The FTSE 250 was down by 0.9% at 20,116.
