Market wrap: Warehouse REIT up as investments continue

UK stock indices clawed back some of yesterday’s losses in Tuesday trading. The FTSE 100 added about 37 points, or 0.6%, to finish the day at 6,453. The FTSE 250 stood at 19,950, a rise of 259 points or 1.3%.

The most notable real estate gain was posted by AIM-listed Dolphin Capital Investors, which rallied by 10% to a nine-month high of 3.3p per share. Also trading up were Harworth Group (up by 4.6%), Hammerson (4.1%) and Warehouse REIT (4% on the back of acquisition news).

Retail-focused London & Associated Properties dropped by 10% to a fresh low of 9p, joining BMO Real Estate Investments (-5.4%) and Dukemount Capital (-3.9) as the sharpest real estate falls.
