Conygar Investment Company has agreed terms with InterContinental Hotels Group for a new hotel complex at its £650m Island Quarter development in Nottingham.
IHG’s boutique brand Hotel Indigo will open a 155-bedroom offer at the site, while its extended-stay brand Staybridge Suites will provide 68 rooms. There will be 223 bedrooms in total.
The hotel forms part of the latest stage of the development, which will include 247 residential rental apartments and an extensive food and beverage area. There will also be 32,291 sq ft of flexible serviced office space.
The Island Quarter is one of Conygar’s flagship developments. The wider 40-acre development will include homes, shops, a linear park and student housing built across a number of phases.
