Transport for London has selected housing association Optivo to develop 150 homes on land next to Bow Church in Tower Hamlets, E3.
The partners will deliver 50% affordable housing and new public realm, with bicycle facilities and commercial space to support the local economy.
Optivo will begin detailed designs and public consultation before lodging a planning application.
It is the first TfL scheme for Optivo, which was selected using the Greater London Authority’s London Development Panel 2 framework of 29 developers, housebuilders and contractors.
