Eddisons picks up 14-person London agency in £1m deal

Property consultancy Eddisons has bought London-based chartered surveyor Hargreaves Newberry Gyngell for £1m.

HNG, which has a team of 14 providing agency, management and lease advisory services, will join Eddisons’ 300-strong team which work across 20 UK offices, boosting the company’s presence in the capital.

It is the latest in a string of small acquisitions by Eddisons, after it bought Barker Storey Matthews in the East of England in 2019, as well as planning consultant Croft, real estate valuers Taylors, and property auction business Pugh & Co in recent years.

Eddisons director Anthony Spencer said: “I am very pleased to welcome the HNG team to Eddisons and the acquisition significantly strengthens our property services capability in London.

“Like Eddisons, HNG has an excellent reputation for high quality professional advice, and we continue to seek opportunities for further growth.”
