Canary Wharf Group names new head of people and culture

Canary Wharf Group has hired the former head of real estate at law firm Addleshaw Goddard to oversee its corporate culture.

Jane Hollinshead will join the group in July as managing director of people, culture and customer service, replacing David Fendley, who retires as director of people and development this month.

Hollinshead has more than 30 years of experience in real estate and since 2015 has been advising companies including British Land, Knight Frank and Savills on issues such as diversity and inclusion through her IJD Consulting business.

Before setting up her own firm, she spent more than 18 years at Addleshaw Goddard, where she was an equity partner and real estate sector head. She is also a non-executive director for Notting Hill Genesis and Moorfield Group.

Hollinshead described Canary Wharf Group as “an industry leader known for its strong values-led culture and excellent customer service”.

Shobi Khan, chief executive of Canary Wharf Group, said: “CWG’s people and culture are our greatest strength. Jane brings a considerable amount of expertise in integrating diversity and inclusion, and ESG into the culture of a business, which aligns with Canary Wharf Group’s focus.”
