LandAid has launched its virtual charity summer event series. It begins on 10 June with its 24th LandAid 10k, followed by the Tour De LandAid, a new event inspired by the Tour De France, which will run between Saturday 26 June and Sunday 18 July.
Last year, more than 760 property professionals took part in the LandAid QuaranTEN and raised more than £100,000 to help provide safe, secure and affordable accommodation for young people across the country.
LandAid’s Paul Morrish is once again calling for the industry’s commitment to the cause.
“Today we ask the industry to stand – or walk, run or cycle – with us in the LandAid 10K and Tour De LandAid to achieve our goal to end youth homelessness.
“Whether you are competitive, want to try something new or just want to get out and about, this is your opportunity. Youth homelessness continues to be an issue that 121,000 young people face in the UK, and we need your help more than ever.”

CALA donation helps vulnerable Indian families
CALA Group has raised more than £20,000 for Habitat for Humanity GB to help support the charity’s Covid relief work in India.
Habitat for Humanity GB is an international housing charity and the funds donated by the CALA business and the fundraising efforts of its staff have provided more than 900 vulnerable families in India, as well as front-line sanitation workers, with potentially life-saving hygiene and family essentials kits.
