St Modwen has appointed former Crest Nicholson strategic projects managing director Andrew Dobson as a senior director.
Dobson worked at Crest Nicholson for almost seven years until his departure in August last year. In this role he managed a team of 30 that was responsible for identifying, promoting, securing and delivering large-scale, residential-led communities.
In his new role, Dobson will focus on identifying and promoting sites to develop as the company brings forward strategic land that will ultimately feed into its residential and logistics businesses.
He will report to Guy Gusterson, managing director of strategic land and regeneration.
The strategic land and regeneration team has also made three promotions. Rob Williams has become managing director of major projects, while Janine Parker and Dinny Shaw are taking on the roles of customer and community director and planning director, respectively.
St Modwen’s master developer partnerships with landowners include its partnership with Severn Trent on a 154-acre site to the west of Cheltenham, which is part of a wider mixed-use project known as The Golden Valley Development.
Earlier this month the firm formed a joint venture with Merton College, Oxford, to develop 240 acres of land in Worcester to create a new neighbourhood consisting of up to 1,250 homes and 900,000 sq ft of logistics space.
