Brunswick buys Croydon offices for Akoya arm

Brunswick Property Partners has bought two office blocks in East Croydon for Akoya, its neighbourhood workplace venture.

The company has purchased Knollys House and Stephenson House for £32.7m from UBS Asset Management Real Estate & Private Markets.

Tenants across the two buildings – which comprise some 190,987 sq ft of office space – include the British Medical Association, British Transport Police Authority, Mitsubishi Electric Europe, Reed Specialist Recruitment and the office for the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.

Brunswick launched Akoya last September with an initial four sites in Queens Park, Chiswick and Hackney. The latest deal takes the business to an eight-property portfolio valued at around £230m.

BPP was advised by Montagu Evans. UBS Asset Management was advised by TT&G Partners.
