Equiem to develop new occupier engagement platform for King’s Cross

Proptech company Equiem is to provide a new occupier and customer engagement platform for use by residents, occupiers and visitors to London’s King’s Cross.

The tool, accessible by phone and desktop, will bring the estate’s services and amenities together, with each customer group – residents, students, office occupiers, retailers, restaurateurs and visitors – having its own offering, including support for their particular building.

Bronny Wilson, regional head of UK and Ireland at Equiem, said the goal is to “equip retailers, restaurants, residents and visitors with user-friendly technologies that make working and living easier, every day”.

For office occupiers, that will include support for returning to the workplace, such as building re-entry guides and safety information.

Visitors will have access via the app to a retail directory and estate map, discounts and click-and-collect shopping.

Gilbert Yule, estate and customer service lead at King’s Cross, said: “Our community of occupiers and customers are the most important part of King’s Cross… Equiem’s platform will be fully integrated into King’s Cross to provide a seamless experience for all our audiences, helping to enhance our connection with our users and deliver the data and insight that will support us in delivering more effective, more impactful content in the future.”
