Nick Capstick-Dale’s UK Real Estate has appointed the former executive director of property for the Howard de Walden Estate as its non-executive chairman.
Simon Baynham, who spent 20 years at the Howard de Walden Estate, joins the firm with immediate effect.
He said: “I have known Nick for many years and have been involved in numerous transactions acting on the other side. Nick is a very shrewd investor and has enjoyed success while remaining approachable and pragmatic. I very much look forward to this new role.”
Capstick-Dale said that he admired Baynham’s “honest and firm approach to business” and felt “very fortunate” to have him as UK Real Estate’s chairman.
UK Real Estate owns a portfolio of assets across London, including around King’s Cross and Wapping.
