Landlords plot to evict NCP over rent row

Landlords are hatching plans to kick NCP out of its car parks in retaliation to the operator’s radical restructuring.

A group led by Aberdeen Standard, including Legal & General, Knight Frank Asset Management, Grosvenor Estate and Hammerson, as well as councils and Network Rail are opposing plans for rent cuts being pushed through by Park 24, which owns NCP.

Some of the landlords have opened discussion with rival operators.

NCP has reached a deal with its largest landlord, Global Mutual, preventing it from being able to vote on the restructuring on Thursday.
