Brookfield’s edyn lands Landmark Pinnacle

Brookfield’s hospitality operator edyn has paid £62.5m for the first 10 floors of Canary Wharf’s Landmark Pinnacle tower.

The 162 apartments – 54 of which will have winter terraces – will be operated under edyn’s serviced apartment brand, Cove, which launched last month.

Landmark Pinnacle, at 75 storeys, is Europe’s tallest residential tower, built on the site of the City Pride pub in 2016.

Cove Landmark Pinnacle is the second signing edyn has announced under the Cove brand, following a deal to take 60,000 sq ft at Grosvenor’s Liverpool ONE development.

In June, edyn announced nine Cove sites would be included in the initial brand roll-out; eight of which are refurbishments of edyn’s traditional serviced-apartment brand, Saco.

Cove managing director Steven Haag, said: “Landmark Pinnacle will be a flagship location for Cove, realising our vision to create a next-generation serviced-apartment brand. This property will be one of the most pre-eminent offerings in London apartments, with unbeatable amenities, such as access to the 56th floor gym.”
