Legal & General has bought a site in Broadstairs, Kent, to build 153 modular homes.
The deal, with Town & Country Housing, brings L&G Modular Homes’ pipeline to 670 homes.
The Poorhole Lane site will be funded by Homes England and will be a mix of shared-ownership and social rent.
By 2024 L&GMH plans to deliver 3,000 homes a year from its factory in Sherburn-in-Elmet in Yorkshire.
