Ziser London has been granted consent for 157 co-living beds as part of a mixed-use redevelopment on Cricklewood Broadway, NW2.
Brent Council has backed plans for the refurbishment and extension of buildings on Cricklewood Broadway, with a new retail arcade linking to the parallel Hassop Road.
The Makers Bay scheme will provide 30,000 sq ft of class E business space at Hassop Road dedicated to light industrial, with a further 28,000 sq ft of retail below the co-living at the four-storey building on Cricklewood Broadway.
The co-living element will incorporate a cinema, shared kitchen, dining facilities and shared workspace. The average size of co-living rooms will be 27.1 sq m. Each room will have access to a winter garden balcony and a private en-suite bathroom.
There will also be eight flats on top of the Hassop Road commercial development.
Earlier this year, Ziser London secured permission for a £115m build-to-rent schee called Stoll Square, to replace the 34,000 sq ft Matalan nearby at 317 Cricklewood Broadway.
