Scarborough Group International has appointed LSH Leeds head Jon Anderson as project director.
Anderson will oversee the delivery of Scarborough’s growth strategy across the Yorkshire region, including the next phase of Thorpe Park Leeds and Sheffield’s Olympic Legacy Park. Scarborough is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned, mixed-use property developers, with over 3m sq ft of space under development on 524 acres of land and £4bn of development in the pipeline.
Anderson has been at Lambert Smith Hampton for the last seven years, as both head of the Leeds office and regional lead for the building consultancy division for the North.
Scarborough boss Simon McCabe, said: “As a group, we are enjoying an exciting period of growth with some truly transformational developments in the pipeline. Jon will play a crucial role in delivering these projects and helping us create a lasting legacy on the local communities and environments around them.”
Anderson said that Scarborough’s philosophy “really resonated with me”. “I’m excited and honoured to have the opportunity to build on the significant progress the group has made to date.”
