BW: Workplace Experts has promoted Helen Lowe (pictured, left) to business development director. Highly experience in the workplace sector, she was initially an interior designer before moving into a business development role at BW. Lowe was part of EG’s first cohort group of Future Female Leaders in 2019 and continues to support the programme as one of the “empowering voices” connecting young women with those in positions of power in the industry to help develop the next generation.

The Scottish Property Federation has appointed Stephen Lewis (pictured, right), managing director of HFD Property Group, as its vice-chair. Lewis has more than 25 years’ commercial property experience in both the public and private sectors and has been responsible for a number of leading office developments across Scotland.

East Midlands-based engineering consultancy Dice has expanded its structural engineering team with a trio of new starters. Nezih Yasdiman joins as associate structural engineer, Charlie Smith has been appointed as senior structural engineer, and Jack Simmons joins as senior REVIT technician. Niall Murray, joined the firm last year, has been promoted to senior REVIT technician.

Bugler Homes has appointed Jack Brudenell as land and planning manager. He will work on projects in the Bugler Homes’ pipeline in Southwark, Kingston and Hillingdon.

Lloyds Banking Group’s private rental business Citra Living has recruited commercial directors Rebecca Lewis from Morgan Sindall Group, Chris Duggan from D4 Developments, and Matthew Burgess previously with JLL to drive new growth.

DWS has hired Aleksandra Njagulj as head of ESG for real estate, tasked with enhancing its ESG integration across its global real estate portfolios. She has 20-years’ experience in architectural design, design management and the sustainable built environment. Njagulj previously worked for CBRE Investors.

Lamington Group, operator of hometel brand room2, has appointed Rob Cahn as head of group operations ahead of the opening of its third hometel in Chiswick in November. He has more than 10 years’ hospitality sector experience and joins
from Locke Hotels.

Finance director Stephen Silvester will step down from Palace Capital’s board at the end of October. During his time with the company he has worked on initiatives including securing its premium listing on the London Stock Exchange and its 2019 conversion to a REIT. Matthew Simpson, head of finance and operations, has been named as finance director designate.

Former government chief planner Steve Quartermain and Southwark development lead Gary Rice have been appointed to the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation’s planning committee. The duo will support the OPDC’s goal to deliver 25,000 homes and 56,000 jobs over the next two decades.
