People and companies: New partner joins Principle Estate Management

He will head up the firm’s business development plans with developers, housebuilders and agents. Simonds is a RICS fellow and member of the Institute of Residential Property Management. Europa Capital has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Emilie Bouthors (pictured, right) as a managing director in its Paris office. She joins from Generali Real Estate. Colliers’ London office has appointed Alex Turner as an associate director to its European valuations team. He joins from CBRE, where he worked across various teams, most recently focusing on large-scale UK shopping centre valuations. Sirius Real Estate has appointed Joanne Kenrick to the board as an independent non-executive director. Matthew Bench has joined Countryside as group chief investment officer. He was formerly group partnerships director at Crest Nicholson and executive director at Ilke Homes. Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has appointed senior associate Jane Bloomer to its real estate team. Based in the Oxford office, Bloomer will strengthen the firm’s presence in the Thames Valley region and Oxford-Cambridge Arc. Managed workplace service provider Apogee Corp has appointed Barry Gray as a consultant to its sales development team. Matt Murray has joined CBRE Capital Advisors as executive director and head of EMEA loan servicing. He was previously executive director and head of primary servicing at Mount Street Group. Next has hired SEGRO chief financial officer Soumen Das as an independent non-executive director. He was previously managing director and chief financial officer of Capital & Counties Properties. Wates Group has appointed former Crossrail executive Esther English as corporate development director. English will lead Wates’s strategic development to help achieve the group’s diversity, inclusion and environmental goals. Law firm Fladgate has appointed Sarah Conibeere as a partner in its residential real estate team. She joins from Mishcon de Reya, where she was a managing associate. BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Craig Maguire as head of logistics and industrial. Based in London, he will lead the European co-ordination of the logistics business, alongside the local teams of BNP Paribas Real Estate. Harworth Group has appointed Andrew Blackshaw as chief operating officer and Jonathan Haigh to the newly created role of chief Investment officer.
