From today (21 September) Stenprop is no more, as it officially changes its name to Industrials REIT.
The new name, approved by shareholders on 10 September, is intended to bring the company in line with its customer-facing “Industrials” operating brand and website.
Industrials is seeking to double the value of its portfolio to £1bn in the next few years, and said it is on track to become a fully multi-let industrial business by March 2022.
Chief executive Paul Arenson founded Stenprop as a property management business for the Stenham Group in 1995. “I am very sad to see the name go – it’s my baby, ” he told EG last week, but the name has “had its time”.
Arenson added at the time: “It maybe speaks to the slow-moving nature of the property industry, but the fact that we could just come along and be able to pick up a sector as a brand name, it’s quite amazing that it was still available.”
